Ah, bugs. While this area has a very low mosquito population (thankfully) there are other bugs that annoy the elephants just as much as the humans who care for them. This basket is full of ingredients we use to make all-natural, 100% edible (because elephants put everything in their mouths) bug spray. We have a couple of recipes and fill up 2 different pump sprayers to coat the girls and protect them from pesky bugs.
This gift allows the girls to enjoy their day eating and grazing without constantly swatting away any annoying visitors who would otherwise be landing upon them.
